Building With Communities, Not Around Them.

At WEBAD, partnership is the foundation of how we work. We believe the most meaningful progress happens when organizations, funders, and communities come together around shared values and a genuine commitment to the people at the center of the work. If you are looking for a community-rooted partner with public health knowledge, a harm reduction orientation, and deep respect for community voice, we would welcome the conversation.

Who We Partner With

Funders and Philanthropic Organizations WEBAD is rooted in Atlanta and welcomes partnerships that strengthen community-centered health and equity work across Georgia. We are ready to engage with funders who value honest partnership, community voice, and practical, grounded approaches to health equity.

Public Agencies We welcome partnerships with city, county, and state agencies working in public health, behavioral health, maternal and child health, housing, and education. WEBAD brings a community-rooted perspective and a harm reduction orientation that can strengthen efforts to work alongside communities that have historically been underserved.

Universities and Colleges WEBAD is interested in community-engaged research and collaborative work at the intersection of public health and equity, particularly partnerships that center community knowledge alongside academic expertise and are built on genuine mutual accountability.

Schools and Youth-Serving Organizations We are open to partnerships with schools and youth-serving organizations committed to engaging young people and families as active participants in health, advocacy, and community wellbeing.

Community-Based Nonprofits We welcome partnerships with nonprofits whose missions align with WEBAD's focus areas, including harm reduction, peer navigation, maternal and family health, behavioral health, community advocacy, and youth and community engagement.

Faith-Based and Neighborhood Organizations WEBAD values partnerships with faith communities and neighborhood organizations already doing meaningful work and looking for a partner with public health knowledge and a community-rooted approach.

Community Leaders and Residents We welcome relationships with community leaders, advocates, and residents engaged in local health, safety, and equity efforts who want a partner that respects and centers their knowledge and experience.

Ways to Partner

Partnership with WEBAD is grounded in mission-aligned collaboration. We are open to a range of partnership structures depending on what the work requires and what the community needs.

Supporting Community-Centered Initiatives Partnering on initiatives designed with community input, grounded in local context, and oriented toward lasting impact.

Advancing Harm Reduction and Community Care Applying a harm reduction lens to health, safety, and community care across behavioral health, maternal and family health, youth services, peer support, and beyond.

Building Community Engagement and Listening Efforts Deepening engagement with communities through structured listening, community dialogue, participatory planning, and advocacy support.

Strengthening Youth, Family, Maternal, and Behavioral Health Work Supporting community-informed, dignity-centered approaches to the interconnected needs of young people, families, mothers, and individuals navigating behavioral health challenges.

Supporting Peer Navigation and Resource Connection Partnering on peer-led models and resource connection efforts that recognize lived experience as a valuable form of expertise.

Creating Space for Community Voice Working with organizations that want community members at the table as contributors to planning, design, and accountability, not only as recipients of services.

What WEBAD Brings

Community-Rooted Approach Our work starts with relationships and listening. We invest in understanding context before acting.

Public Health Knowledge WEBAD brings a strong foundation in public health, including experience in community health, maternal and behavioral health, harm reduction, and the social and structural conditions that shape health.

Harm Reduction Orientation Harm reduction is not one of our programs. It is how we think and how we show up across every focus area and every partnership.

Community Listening and Facilitation We bring experience facilitating community conversations, listening processes, and group planning efforts that create genuine space for community voice.

Evaluation-Informed Learning Mindset We approach our work with a commitment to honest reflection, continuous learning, and shared accountability.

Founder Expertise WEBAD was founded by Dr. K. Ellick, a public health researcher, evaluator, educator, and community advocate with deep experience in community-centered program design, qualitative and mixed-methods research, maternal and behavioral health, harm reduction, and facilitation. That expertise informs every partnership WEBAD takes on.

Commitment to Dignity, Accountability, and Practical Support We are here to do work that is honest, grounded, and genuinely useful to the people and communities at the center of it.

What We Look For in Partners

Respect for Community Voice Partners who understand that the people most affected by an issue should have a meaningful role in shaping the response to it.

Willingness to Listen and Learn Partners who approach this work with humility and treat learning as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time exercise.

Shared Commitment to Dignity and Equity Partners who believe every person deserves to be treated with respect and who are willing to examine the systems and practices that get in the way of that.

Interest in Practical, Grounded Work Partners who care more about doing good work than looking good on paper, and who are willing to stay in the complexity.

Openness to Collaboration Partners who see shared decision-making as a strength and understand that the best community work is rarely designed from the top down.
